The waitlist
If you join the waitlist we store the email address you gave us, when you gave it, and whether you clicked the confirmation link. We use it for exactly two things: that one confirmation email, and an invitation when a door opens. If you want off the list, write to us and we delete the entry.
Members
An account stores the email you sign in with and the things you choose to write. Who can read what you write is governed by the audience you pick on each post; the operator sees what moderation requires and no more. There are no ads, no trackers, no third-party analytics, and nothing here is ever sold.
Who does work for us
Overstory runs on Google Cloud (hosting, sign-in, storage), sends email through Resend, and takes payments through Stripe. Each sees only what its job needs — Stripe, for instance, never learns what you write, and we never see your card number.
